Tasting Note
Deep violet red with a bright purple hue colour. On the nose, fresh black pepper, aniseed, plum, black olive and nuts. On the palate, mid-weighted red and blue fruit flavours around the palate and continue with fine grained tannins and length.
Winemaking Process
Fruit of this wine was handpicked from the Great Western Vineyard, the whole bunch fruit was cold soaked for 2-3 days then wild fermented for approximately 10 days. Post fermentation, the wine was left on skins for another 2 weeks. Wine is aged in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 18 months.
